DpsDave Covid-19 Update
During these interesting times, we're going to keep doing what we do best: Digitizing photos, tapes & albums to preserve your memories. We're going to get through this thing, and we are glad you are here.
Our Drop Off and Pick Up lobby is closed.
We have limited phone support, so the best way to contact us is via email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
DpsDave is operating, and has taken steps to assure the safety of our employees and your photographs, albums and tapes.
Deliveries are being made to DpsDave via all carriers. We will update this page if the situation changes.
All DpsDave outbound shipments ship via UPS. We have modified our UPS pickup process to minimize social contact above & beyond CDC guidelines.
Here is what UPS is doing:
- UPS is Open for Business: UPS operations and The UPS Store® locations have been designated by the Governor’s offices in all 50 states as critical infrastructure, and we continue to pick up and deliver, even in restricted areas.
- No-touch No-sign Delivery: We’ve heard your concerns and changed how customers sign for packages to minimize contact.
Delivering Safely: UPS is taking measures to protect employees from exposure to coronavirus including enhanced cleaning and following WHO and CDC guidelines.
We have changed schedules so employees work alone, and are prioritizing employee safety. We spend a lot of time wiping down surfaces and cleaning the equipment, and this reduces our throughput. We are keeping expedite order on track, but normal order are beginning to slip. If your order will be significantly impacted we will be contacting you. Our drop off and pick up lobby is closed until further notice.
We will not be able to answer very many phone calls during this national emergency. We will answer all emails, so please contact us at email@example.com instead of calling.
We have changed our operations to comply with all federal and state regulations and guidance. As you are aware, the situation is changing rapidly and it may be that our government will ask us to cease operations for a period of time. If the cease operations orders comes, we have plans in place to safeguard and store all orders that are in house at that time. UPS has a "critical infrastructure" designation, and therefore will not be included in a cease operations order. We have worked with UPS and FedEx that should a cease operations order be issued, all orders in route will be brought to local distribution centers and stored. When the emergency is over, we'll bring them out to our processing center and log them in. You will not receive package receipt emails until the emergency is over in this scenario.
